PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording/reproducing device not allowing various kinds of defects due to a failure in determining an unloading position of a slide deck. SOLUTION: A main deck 100 is mounted with a rotary drum 50. A slide deck 200 is fitted with a tape cassette and slides between a first position (unloading position) apart most from the rotary drum 50 and a second position (loading position) nearest the rotary drum 50. The position of a slide lever 13 with respect to the main deck 100 is regulated by a regulating screw 14, by which the first position is regulated.
