PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving control device of a step motor which enables simply acceleration, deceleration control of the step motor. SOLUTION: The number of braking steps necessary to stop the step motor 43, and driving speed rates which are set corresponding to the number are recorded in a storage device 51. When the number of braking steps corresponding to an actual driving speed is at least the number of target steps, an ECU 50 performs deceleration control to drive the step motor 43 at a driving speed based on a pulse rate corresponding to the number of braking steps. When the number of braking steps corresponding to an actual driving speed of the step motor 43 is at most the number of target steps, the ECU 50 performs acceleration control to drive the step motor at a driving speed based on a driving speed rate corresponding to the number of steps which is larger than the number of braking steps by one step.
