PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to support comfortable and smooth operation through a highly elaborated display suitable for the actual operation by varying the display of the graphic of an intersection in a navigation apparatus carried on a vehicle as the vehicle actually advances to the intersection. SOLUTION: An intersection graphic display system of the navigation apparatus carried on the vehicle includes a first display means to display a residual distance to the intersection while displaying an intersection graphic as the current position of the vehicle reaches the first specified distance ahead of the intersection and a second display means to display the residual distance to the intersection in a different form from the distance shown by the first display means as the current position of the vehicle reaches the second specified distance ahead of the intersection.
