PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed constant line type filter element for high frequency having a steep damping characteristics. SOLUTION: This high-frequency filter element is constituted, in such a way that a coil-like conductor is provided in a magnetic insulator section 1 formed into a columnar shape. In addition, a grounding electrode 4 which forms a distributed constant line, together with the conductor 2 via the insulator section 1 is provided around the section 1. The conductor 2 is equipped with a first coil-like conductor 2a and a second coil-like conductor 2b, which is provided to generate a negative mutual inductance with respect to the first conductor 2a.
