PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve a class to be changed or reused from a specification showing a cooperative operation of an object. SOLUTION: This class editing device for scenario is provided with a scenario description means 20 for describing a side surface having a behavior in a system by sequences of messages between objects (hereinafter referred to as the scenario), a scenario object information storage means 21 for preserving a plurality of described scenarios, a scenario retrieval means 22 for retrieving a desired scenario from the scenario object information storage means 21, a class retrieval means 23 for enabling display of a class related to the scenario from the scenario obtained by the scenario retrieval means 22 and retrieval of the definition of a desired class and a class edition means 24 for enabling edition of the specification of the retrieved class.
