CATALYST SYSTEM FOR HYDROFORMYLATION AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING ALDEHYDE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A catalyst system for hydroformylation and a process for preparing aldehyde using the same system are provided, which catalyst system has improved catalyst activity and its recovery can be easily carried out, so that the production costs of aldehyde can be decreased. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst system for hydroformylation comprises a rhodium catalyst, and inorganic amine containing a VIB group transition metal as a ligand, in which the rhodium catalyst is (Rh(CH3COO)2)2; the inorganic amine containing the VIB group transition metal is ammonium chromate, ammonium dichromate, ammonium molybdate or ammonium tungstate; and the mole ratio of the rhodium catalyst to the inorganic amine used is 1:2 to 1:10. The process for preparing aldehyde comprises the steps of: inserting the rhodium catalyst, inorganic amine containing VIB group transition metal and olefin into a high pressure reactor; sealing the high pressure reactor, filling the reactor with CO/H2 mixed gases, and heating it to 40 to 200 deg. C; inserting the CO/H2 mixed gases into the reactor up to 4 to 16 Mpa and maintaining the pressure over the reaction; cooling the reactor to room temperature and discharging the mixed gases; and distilling the reacted mixture under reduced pressure.
