The closure includes screws which are able to turn a quarter turn. Each screw includes a non-removable elastic ring (14) which ensures a seal between the screw and the seating. The ring is produced by injection moulding. The closure mechanism for a box housing electrical equipment includes screws which are able to turn a quarter turn. Each screw includes a shaft (12) around which is fitted a non-adhesive and non-removable elastic ring (14). This ring ensures a seal between the screw and the seating of the passage (25) through which the screw passes. The ring is produced by the dual injection of an elastic plastic material around the rigid plastic material of the shaft (12) and the head (11) of the screw. The locking mechanism for the screw, enabling the quarter turn action, comprises two opposed projecting bosses on either side of the screw end, linked together by a diametrical rib.
