<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wet concrete which is provided with functions of water retention and animal/plant growth, similar to those of soil, and also has strength close to that of normal concrete. SOLUTION: This concrete is produced by mixing cement, vegetable fiber and water, together with coarse aggregate and fine aggregate, in mix proportions sufficient to provide a >=400 kg/m3 unit cement content (C), a >55% water-cement ratio (W/C), a >=4 cm slump value (immediately after mixing), a >=4.0% air content (immediately after mixing), a >=30 kg/m3 vegetable fiber content and a >=300 kgf/cm2 of strength for proportioning, of the resulting concrete, wherein when the thus produced concrete is hardened, the objective water-retentive concrete having >=350 kgf/cm2 compressive strength, >=50 kgf/cm2 bending strength and a >=10% water absorption coefficient, is obtained.</p> |
