<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to remove noise as much as possible and to enable a high speed treatment of discharge lamp control. SOLUTION: This device has detection parts 5 to 8 for detecting a discharge lamp voltage, a discharge lamp current, a power supply voltage and a lighting time, an A/D converter 42 to A/D conversion detected signals from the respective detecting parts 5 to 8 by switching a mulitplexer 41, a signal processing part 43 for obtaining data for operation from the A/D converted detected data according to a prescribed processing method, a calculation part 44 for obtaining control data to control an output supplied from a discharge lamp-lighting circuit 2 to a discharge lamp 1 from the data for the calculation, and a change control part 441 for changing at least either a fetching action of the detected signals at the A/D converter 42 or a processing method in the signal processing part 43, according to the operation status of the discharge lamp 1. By making the processing method or the like switched appropriately by the change control part 441 according to the action state of the discharge lamp 1, removal of the noise as much as possible and a high speed treatment of a discharge lamp control can be made.</p> |
