PURPOSE: To obtain a food and drink or a thermal sensory composition for a product for the oral cavity having thermal sensory effects with excellent persistence even during use thereof in a small amount without irritation to mucous membranes, or the like, a perfume composition and the food and drink or the product for the oral cavity comprising the thermal sensory composition. CONSTITUTION: This thermal sensory composition comprises at least one kind of a cold sensory agent compound and vanillin and/or at least one kind of thermal sensory agent compound. A combination of 3-(1-menthoxy)propane-1,2- diol or 3-(1-menthoxy)-2-methyl-propane-1,2-diol with vanillin and/or vanillyl butyl ether is preferred.
