摘要 PURPOSE: A call distribution method in an RAS(Remote Access Server) is provided to efficiently distribute the calls received to an RAS by calculating the available channel ratio of each network interface part installed in the RAS, determining the order of call distribution, and distributing the calls, while not executing call distribution for a network interface part as much as a required frequency in case that a fault is generated in the network interface part. CONSTITUTION: An RAS calculates the available channel ratio of each network interface part(S21) and determines the order of call distribution according to each available channel ratio(S22). Then the RAS selects the network interface part of the first rank(S23). The RAS confirms the skip variable of the selected network interface part(S24) and judges whether the skip variable is '0'(S25). If the skip variable is '0', the RAS distributes calls to the network interface part(S26). At the same time, the RAS checks whether a fault has been generated from the network interface part(S27). In case that it is judged that a fault has been generated from the network interface part, the RAS increases a fault variable and the skip variable(S33). Meanwhile, if a fault hasn't been generated from the network interface part, the RAS sets the fault variable to '0', increases the occupied channel number of the network interface part and sets the occupied channel ratio of the network interface part as the newly calculated value(S29).
