The terminal fitting includes at least two strands of wires (16, 18, 20) emerging from the fitting to be introduced into the tube. The terminal fitting includes removable enclosure (30) with an internal passage (50) which receives a fixing screw (28). The screw passes through holes in the surface of the tube, thus serving to fasten the fitting on to the tube without any risk of damage to the wiring strands. The terminal fitting is intended to be attached to the end of a tube (26) and includes at least two strands of wires (16, 18, 20) emerging from the fitting and intended to be introduced into the tube. The terminal fitting lies within a removable enclosure (30) arranged transversely in order to ensure a separation of the strands of wires (16, 18, 20). The enclosure has an internal passage (50) which receives a fixing screw (28). The screw passes through holes in the surface of the tube, thus serving to fasten the fitting on to the tube without any risk of damage to the wiring strands. The enclosure may be rectangular, and have a dimension less than that of the tube, enabling it to be fitted inside the tube without friction.
