<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge control device, together with its control method, to a two-system power supply which has simple circuit constitution and does not need power distribution switching in order to solve the problem where a power source of an electrical auxiliary machinery group for a vehicle is a combined system of 14 V/42 V power sources, one for a 42 V system and the other for a 14 V system, a generator constituted of one 3-phase-stator winding is used, and circuit constitution of a method for distributing electric power to the two power supply systems is complex. SOLUTION: This charge control device consists of a voltage regulator for adjusting and supplying an exciting current in response to voltage change of a first power source for the electrical auxiliary machinery group for a vehicle, a first power converter which is connected with an output of the generator and supplies charging power to the first power source, and a second power converter which is connected with the output of the generator and supplies charging power to a second power source in the time division manner by the control of a switching element.</p> |
