<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal drain pipe with a socket, and a drain pipe joint allowing the drainage construction of various sanitary fixtures such as a toilet bowl with a small number of parts and few construction man-hours. SOLUTION: This horizontal drain pipe with the socket comprises a horizontal drain pipe of oval cross section and a socket the whole of which is provided integrally with the horizontal drain pipe, having a cylindrical fitting holding part horizontally extended from the peripheral edge of a side face opening of the horizontal drain pipe. The upstream side end part of the fitting holding part fittingly holds the downstream side end part of the cylindrical drain pipe joint connected to a drain port of various sanitary fixtures such as the toilet bowl. The drain pipe joint comprises a drain port side cylinder part with its upstream side end part connected to the drain port of various sanitary fixtures such as the toilet bowl, a socket side cylinder part connected in an internally communicating state to the drain port side cylinder part and connected at its downstream side end to the side face opening of the horizontal drain pipe of oval cross section through the socket, and a water guide provided in the socket side cylinder part. The water guide is shaped to turn the flow of sanitary sewage in the socket side cylinder part toward the lower reaches of the horizontal drain pipe.</p> |
