PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for a color electrophotographic device capable of realizing a high-quality image free from irregular fixation by preventing the deformation of silicone rubber from occurring even when a fixing machine constituted of a fixing roller and a pressure roller covered with the silicone rubber is left as it is for a long time. SOLUTION: A pressuring force holding member whose width is larger than a gap between the core bars of both of the fixing roller and the pressure roller in a non-heating state and smaller than the gap between both of them in a heating state is provided between a core bar part not covered with the silicone rubber at the end of the fixing roller and that at the end of the pressure roller.
