PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the earth structure of a transfer belt supporting roller capable of preventing the occurrence of rotation lock of the roller while attaining sure earth. SOLUTION: The occurrence of defective earth can be evaded by the earth structure of the transfer belt supporting roller provided with a conductive bearing having an integrated bottomed cylindrical shape engaged with the end part of a supporting shaft and capable of rotatably supporting the shaft, a side plate for supporting the bearing so as not to rotate it and an earth plate supported by the side plate and allowed to be elastically depressed to the face of the bearing.
