PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator monitor capable of properly improving security by releasing an elevator user from a psychological state of being constantly monitored. SOLUTION: A password control device 16 outputs a reception allowing signal to the monitor 21 of a housing corresponding to a password number input by a password number input device 14 and displays a cage picture image photographed by a camera 2 on the monitor 21. Consequently, the cage picture image is displayed only on the monitor 21 of the housing by discriminating a person approaching the specific housing.
