The air inlet circuit (14) for an engine (12) with a turbocompressor (18), having an inlet duct (26) between the compressor (22) and a distributor (34), incorporates a variable-volume section (50) in the inlet duct to adjust the circuit's resonance frequency according to the excitation frequency of the engine and promote natural filling of its combustion chambers. The variable volume section has one part (52) of the same diameter as the inlet duct and ends of greater diameter to allow it to move, either telescopically by means of a mechanical actuator (57) or a bellows member. |
