PURPOSE: By reinforcing conventional AC8A material, a heat resistance and durability are improved, and light-weight is achieved. CONSTITUTION: A heat resistant piston composition comprises Si of 12-13.5 weight %, Cu of 3-4 weight %, Ni of 1.5-2.5 weight %, Mg of 1.0-1.5 weight %, Fe of less than 0.6 weight %, Mn of less than 0.5 weight %, and rest of Al. Composition rate of Al is relatively high, thereby achieving light weight.
