PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication controller for vehicle that can optimally control filtering conditions in response to a vehicle state and an exposed environment. SOLUTION: Gateways 1-3 respectively connected to an external unit 9 are connected in series and the filtering conditions of the gateways 1-3 are set through individual operation sections 10a-10c. The gateways 1-3 pass a signal when a state of the external unit 9 meets the filtering conditions. Main bodies can set detailed setting according to their own intentions and each main body applies optimum control to a device connected to a 2nd on-vehicle network 7 in response to the state of the external unit 9.
