PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phone system that can properly release an automatic telephone message recording service. SOLUTION: The phone system conducts the automatic telephone message recording service that returns a message including time information when a called terminal can reply a call to a caller terminal on behalf of a called terminal when the called terminal cannot reply the call. The phone system is provided with a storage means 62 that stores the time information when the terminal can reply an incoming call and with a control means 32 that detects a terminal whose reply is available on the basis of the time information stored in the storage means 62 and releases the automatic telephone message recording service to the terminal.
