PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-point video conference system, that can prevent the occurrence of errors so as to attain transmission reception of video data, even if a terminal, having no network environment equal to that of terminals taking part in a network, takes part in conference, or there is a terminal whose network state is deteriorated during the conference, and to provide a video data code quantity control method and a recording medium in which a program therefor is recorded. SOLUTION: Each terminal transmits video data reception information for informing the reception state and decoding state of received video data by each terminal to a multi-point conference controller, the multi-point conference controller receiving this information selects information denoting a lowest network environment (e.g. a code quantity prior to decoding) and returns the information to each of the terminals taking part in the conference respectively, and each terminal encodes the video data according to the received video data receiving information. |
