PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically fused saddle joint capable of improving the close fitting property with a pipe by properly setting the thickness of a saddle part and preventing the deterioration of interface pressure by minimizing the deformation of the saddle part in fusion. SOLUTION: The thickness d of the saddle part 1 is set to 7-8 mm to impart proper rigidity thereto and prevent the deformation of the saddle part 1 in fusion.
