The invention concerns a repellent cosmetic composition. The repellent cosmetic composition active against furcocercariae (infesting forms of schistosomes) is characterised in that it consists of: a repellent agent acting on cercariae, an anti-inflammatory agent having likewise a soothing function, a binder, a preservative, a carrier, a fragrance. The repellent agent is butyl-acetyl-ethyl-aminopropionate. The invention is useful for preventing furcocercariae from penetrating under human skin. |
