Device for producing a glass drop incorporates an installation to form a glass draft (2) with the aid of a membrane. The membrane is a membrane block or body incorporating some channels (1.3) for introducing gas under pressure. The channels are sunk into the membrane body material (1) and pass at a distance with respect to the outlet surface (1.1) of the membrane body and are parallel to this outlet surface or make a sharp angle with it.
