PURPOSE: Structure of a frame for a door or a window is provided to improve the durability and strength of a door frame or a window frame by using larch or fine. CONSTITUTION: Larch or fine is made into a standardized wood(1) for a door frame or a window frame. A groove(2a) or a ledge is formed on the surface of the standardized wood. A crack-absorbing groove(3) and a reinforcing material insertion groove(4) are formed on the rear face of the firstly-processed wood. A steel sheet reinforcement(5) is inserted to the reinforcing material insertion groove. Both ends of the reinforcing material are bonded with each other.
