PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a language notation method for allowing a reception side equipment to rightly notate a character code transmitted from a transmission side equipment. SOLUTION: The classification of a code page of the reception side equipment is inquired (ST1) and the classification of the code page of the reception side equipment is confirmed (ST3). When the classification of the code page assigned in the reception side equipment and the classification of a code page selected in the transmission side equipment are different (ST4, NO), the desired character code transmitted from the transmission side equipment to the reception side equipment is corrected according to a character code of the code page assigned in the reception side equipment (ST7) and the character code is transmitted (ST8). |
