摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for inspecting the characteristics of an unvulcanized tire, for reducing the generation rate of the nonconforming articles of the tire that becomes the final shape through a vulcanization process. SOLUTION: A roller 1 is pressed on the unvulcanized tire T before vulcanization process with a prescribed pressure, and the change in the amount of displacement of the roller 1 over the entire periphery of the tire T is measured by rotating the tire T, thus inspecting the repulsion force characteristics of the unvulcanized tire T, based on the measurement result. Accordingly, by performing correction machining on the unvulcanized tire T based on the repulsion force characteristics, RFV that is closely correlated with the repulsion force characteristics of the unvulcanized tire T can be made small.
