PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modifier capable of giving a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in impact resistance. SOLUTION: This method for modifying the thermoplastic resin is provided by using as modifiers, (A) a silicone rubber latex and (B) a rubber-modified resin obtained by polymerizing a vinyl-based monomer in the presence of acrylic rubber latex and coagulating and enlarging the polymer particles during the polymerization.
