PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing fluorocarbon polymer particles having an acid type functional group. SOLUTION: This method for producing the fluorocarbon polymer particles is provided by mixing coagulated polymer particles obtained by coagulating the emulsified dispersion of the fluorocarbon polymer having the acid type functional group (e.g. CF2=CF2/CF2=CFO(CF2)3COOCH3 copolymer) with an alcohol containing an acid, separating them from the alcohol by filtration and then drying.
