PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress display unevenness in a liquid crystal panel generated, when AC driving is performed by reducing the power consumption for driving a liquid-crystal panel. SOLUTION: The operational amplifier 1, which drives the liquid crystal panel, is provided with differential stages 2 and 3, drive means 4 and 5, output transistors 11 to 14, switching means 6 and 7 which connect the differential means 2 and 3 to the drive stages 4 and 5 by switching, and an intermediate- potential side power source 10. Those differential stages 2 and 3 and drive means 4 and 5 are driven between a high-potential side power source 8 and a low-potential side power source 9; and the output transistors 11 and 12 are driven between the high-potential side power source 8 and intermediate-potential side power source 10 and the output transistors 13 and 14 are driven alternately by the driving means 4 and 5 between the intermediate-potential side power source 10 and low-potential side power source 8. Consequently, the capacitive load of the liquid crystal panel can be charged and discharged by VDD/2, to reduce the power consumption and also suppress display unevenness.
