PURPOSE: A system and a method for performing a financial transaction using a mobile communication terminal are provided to perform a financial transaction rapidly and conveniently by inputting data desired for a financial transaction through the mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: A mobile phone terminal(100) stores a financial transaction program and a program for a wireless data communication service as a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) or an ME(Mobile Explore). A base station(200) communicates with the mobile phone terminal(100) by wireless and transmits data for a financial transaction. A wireless branch processor(BP)(300) stores a registered inherent identification number and a password of each client and discriminates a justification of a user based on the number and password. A financial transaction execution server(host)(400) stores financial transaction information as account information of each client and creates and supplies a transaction approval number with respect to a requested financial transaction. A financial automation device(500) makes a user input the transaction approval number received from the host(400) and perform a financial transaction. A financial network branch processor(600) performs a relay between the host(400) and the financial automation device(500).
