PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless mobile terminal receiver, that can receive a service of an information message transmission system and attain automatic storage of a message by areas, automatic buildup of a new directory, addition of a name to the directory and apply processing to a public-oriented information message with highest priority or the like. SOLUTION: A message processing section 4 conducts information message reception processing, when the message processing section 4 discriminates that a position information history memory 10 storing a list of position information items having already been acquired stores the same position information as that received from a position information extracting circuit 3, without creating a new directory, and the message processing section 4 automatically creates the new directory in the message memory 7 and newly adds position information extracted by the position information extracting circuit 3 to the position information history memory 10, when the message processing section 4 discriminates that no same position information exists. The name of the area is automatically registered as a name of the newly created directory.
