PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration eliminating mount causing no horizontal slippage by independently imparting horizontal and vertical vibration eliminating performances thereto. SOLUTION: This vibration eliminating mount comprises the combination of a vertical damping mechanism 1 and a horizontal damping mechanism 2. The vertical damping mechanism 1 is formed of the combination of a compression coil spring 3 and a viscoelastic body 4 to eliminate the vibration of a vertical component applied to the vibration eliminating mount. The horizontal damping mechanism 2 is formed of the combination of a displacement automatic returning mechanism 5 and a viscoelastic body 6. The displacement automatic returning mechanism 5 has the function of relatively displacing, following the horizontal component of an external force, and automatically returning to the original state in the release of the external force, and it damps the vibration of the horizontal component applied to the vibration eliminating mount. The vertical damping mechanism 1 and the horizontal damping mechanism 2 independently function as mechanisms, so that excellent damping performance can be obtained for both vertical and horizontal directions.
