PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a bearing with a bearing seal capable of facilitating mounting of the bearing seal on the bearing and providing stable seal performance by suppressing a loss of strength. SOLUTION: The bearing seal in which a rubber lip 2a protruding from outer periphery of a ringlike reinforcing plate 1 is formed is formed by blanking or forming a thin plate member with an elastic layer. A ratio of groove width T of a fitting groove 3b to a thickness t of the rubber lip 2a, T/t, is 0.9 to 0.5, a ratio of depth diameter D of the fitting groove 3b to an outside diameter d of the rubber lip 2a, D/d, is 0.95 to 1.05, a ratio of volume V of the fitting groove 3b to a volume v of a protruding part of the rubber lip 2a, V/v, is 0.7 to 1.2, and a clearance between an outside diameter of the reinforcing plate 1 and an inside diameter of an inner peripheral face 3c of an outer ring of the bearing 3 is set to less than 1/3 of a thickness of the rubber lip 2a. The bearing seal is mounted in the fitting groove 3b of the bearing 3 by directing the reinforcing plate 1 outward. Consequently, a loss of strength is suppressed and stable seal performance can be obtained.
