PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate assembly of parts and maintenance after construction in the case of installing a faucet post with many parts built inside. SOLUTION: An opening is formed in the upper region of one side face of a hollow columnar case 2 of this faucet post 1, and the opening is covered with a detachable cover body. Inside the columnar case 2, various members such as a faucet body of a combination faucet 3 or the like, a selector valve 6 for selecting a passage in the case of providing a plurality of discharge parts, and various piping of a feed water pipe H, a feed hot water pipe W and feed pipes M1, M2 are enclosed, and a check valve is sometimes mounted on the way of the feed water pipe W and feed hot water pipe H. Since the opening closable with the cover body is formed at a part of the columnar case, assembly work of members such as the combination faucet 3, selector valve 6, various piping and check valve into the columnar case 2, and maintenance work after construction can be very easily performed.
