FISH TRIMMING MACHINE FOR AUTOMATICALLY CUTTING THE TAIL AND GILL OF VARIOUS KINDS OF FISHES

PURPOSE: A fish trimming machine for automatically cutting the tail and gill of all kinds and sizes of fishes is provided, thereby cutting the tail and gill of fishes precisely and labor effectively. CONSTITUTION: The fish trimming machine for automatically cutting the tail and gill of fishes comprises a conveyer which transfers fishes; a fish shape analyzing device consisting of a camera and a light sensor which analyze a fish shape and sends its image signal to a microcontroller; a microcontroller which controls the movement of the conveyer and blades for cutting the tail and gill of a fish, and precisely places the conveyer and the blades according to the signal from the fish shape analyzing device; and a blade for the tail and a blade for the gill, wherein the blade for the tail has a linear shape and the blade for gill has "v" shape to avoid over-cutting.
