PURPOSE: A surface water sampler is provided to collect surface water in an easy manner, while improving reliability of test by preventing contamination of water since the water is directly collected through the water sampling bottle. CONSTITUTION: A surface water sampler comprises a support bar(4) having a predetermined length; a mount plate(6) fixed at the lower end of the support bar; a holder plate(8) installed at a predetermined height from the mount plate; and an elastic member(10) arranged to be supported by a stopper(24) fixed to the support bar so as to elastically support a slider(20). The mount plate includes a fixed part(12) fixed to the support bar, and a support tray(14) extended in both directions from the fixed part. The holder plate includes a slider(20) for sliding the support bar, and a holder part(22) extended in both directions from the slider so as to hold the neck of a water sampling bottle(16).
