PURPOSE: A fixing method of jewels in a watch movement part and its device are provided to improve the necessary accuracy for fixing jewels in a housing. CONSTITUTION: A method for fixing jewels in a watch movement part consists in using a setting device for jewel holes or prismatic jewels including at least a reference plane, on which the jewel to be fixed is wedged, the plane including at least spatial positioning means for the jewel, such as studs or cavities. Once the jewel is set in place, it is secured to its housing(3) by applying a laser beam to its edge, possibly with the addition of a fusible material. Thereby, the setting device is designed without any difficulties. |
