PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redox flow battery which is improved, so that no self discharging occurs through a manifold, and the loss can be reduced, even if a pump is suspended during battery standby. SOLUTION: A pair of bipolar electrodes 1 is formed by intervening with electrodes placed between both sides of a separate film. The circumference of the bipolar electrodes 1 is surrounded by a frame 2. A liquid inlet opening 3 and a liquid outlet opening 4 for respectively delivering and discharging of an electrolysis liquid to the electrodes are prepared in the frame 2. Both the liquid delivery opening 3 and the liquid discharging opening 4 are formed at a position higher than the bipolar electrodes 1. |
