PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress production of interference light. SOLUTION: A pixel electrode is formed in each pixel region in the liquid crystal side of one substrate of the substrates disposed facing each other through the liquid crystal so as to reflect the external light entering through the other substrate. The pixel electrode is formed having randomly distributed projections on its surface with the projections have two or more kinds of different forms when the pixel electrodes are observed as a plan view.
