PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturizable discharge lamp lighting device. SOLUTION: A rectangular printed circuit board 2 with constituent components of an inverter circuit mounted is housed in a metallic case 1. On the respective inside surfaces of both leg pieces 10b, 10b of a metallic case body 10, four support parts 11 for supporting four corners of the printed circuit board 2 are so integrally formed as to keep the distance between the printed circuit board 2 and a central piece 10a of the case body 10 at a specified value, and four holding parts 12 for catching the four corners of the printed circuit board 2 between the support parts 11 and themselves are projected. On the inside surfaces of both the leg pieces 10b, 10b of the case body 10, restriction parts 13 for restricting the longitudinal movement of the printed circuit board 2 are integrally projected. |
