<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten overall operation time by reducing the number of figures for which an operation is to be performed. SOLUTION: A figure group existing region calculating section 1 calculates the existing regions of figure groups belonging to each layer. Next, an operated figure group calculating section 2 calculates a regions wherein figures of different layers coexist as a region at least for which an operation should be performed. An extraction section 3 for extracting figure groups inside and outside the calculated region extracts figure groups inside and outside the calculated region, from among the figure groups in each layer. A section 4 for performing operations for figure groups inside the calculated region performs graphical OR operations on the figure groups inside the calculated region of each layer, using 'ScanLine Method' or the like. Finally, a figure group combining section 5 combines the results of the graphical OR operations and the figure groups outside the calculated region of each layer and outputs the result as the final result.</p> |
