PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor the compression efficiency of which can be improved by reducing re-compression loss resulting from the backflow of high-pressure refrigerant remaining in a discharge port to a compression chamber.SOLUTION: A scroll compressor 20 comprises: a fixed scroll 1 and an orbiting scroll 2 together forming a compression chamber 3; a discharge port 4 from which refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber 3 is discharged; and a discharge valve device 5 installed so that the refrigerant to be discharged from the discharge port 4 to a discharge chamber 11 flows in one direction, the discharge valve device 5 is composed of a discharge valve 6 having a valve element 6b for preventing the backflow of the refrigerant from the discharge chamber 11 to the compression chamber 3, a valve guard 7 for restricting the valve opening of the discharge valve 6, and a second discharge port 4a arranged between a valve element guide hole 9 into which the valve element 6b is inserted and the discharge chamber 11 in communication with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
