<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic connecting passage being easy to install without impairing the appearance of each building nor requiring a mounting area that is large compared with a passage in each building. SOLUTION: A movable handrail portion 16 comprises: two fences 22 and 23 each connected to a fixed handrail portion 15 at one end near a first building 2 in a manner enabling the fences to be angularly displaced about a first vertical axis L and each connected also to a second building at the other end near the second building 3 in a manner enabling the fences to be angularly displaced about a second vertical axis L2, with the intermediate portion of each fence between the one end and the other end being bendable about a third vertical axis L3; and a hinge piece 24 for connecting the ends of the mutually proximate sides of the fences 22 and 23 together in a manner enabling the fences to be angularly displaced about the third vertical axis L3. The other end of one of the fences 23 and the inner surface 11a of a handrail wall 11 are connected together by the hinge piece 24a in a manner enabling them to be angularly displaced about the vertical axis L1. The other end of the other of the fences 22 and the ends of the upper rail 88 and the lower rail 89 of the fixed handrail portion 15 near the second building 3 are connected together by pins 24b in a manner enabling them to be angularly displaced about the vertical axis L3.</p> |
