PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone, in which a waterproof function and a dust proof function can be obtained easily at a low cost. SOLUTION: An enclosure 2 of the mobile phone 1 is provided with openings 19, 20 and contract terminals 24a of a printed circuit board 3 mounted in the inside of the enclosure 2 face the openings 19, 20. Fixing a SIM card 4 to the printed circuit board 3 to face the opening 19 can electrically connect terminals of the SIM card 4 to the contact terminals 24a. An engagement projection 26 of a battery 5 is engaged with an engagement piece 17, a lock button 22 is engaged with the engagement projection 27 and the battery 5 is contained in a battery container section 15. The battery 5 smashes seal members 30, 31 adhered to edges of the openings 19, 20 to tightly seal the openings 19, 20 against external air.
