PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light element that has superior efficiency, stable operation, and an excellent yield, and a method for manufacturing the light element by providing a DBR that has an improved reflection factor and a stop band with wide wavelength, and is easily manufactured. SOLUTION: A distribution Bragg reflector(DBR) is used. In the distribution Bragg reflector, a plurality of semiconductor layers made of a nitride semiconductor are mutually alienated nearly at even intervals for laminating, and also the semiconductor layer made of the nitride semiconductor and an organic film layer made of an organic film are alternately laminated.
