PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk player capable of dealing with the disks of two types of diameters, large and small. SOLUTION: A starting arm 20 is horizontally moved by a selecting arm 50 abutted on by the side edge of a large-diameter disk 14b and rotated, the starting arm 20 rotated connecting with a shift bar 17 pushed to be moved by the front edge of the disk 14b, a cam follower pin 25 is locked in a pocket 53c by a spring 24, the shift bar 17 is regulated by binding the starting arm 20 cooperatively with a rotary shaft 22, and the center of the large-diameter disk is positioned. For a small-diameter disk 14a, irrespective of the selecting arm 50, the shift bar 17 is regulated by the starting arm 20 locking the cam follower pin 25 in a pocket 43c by the spring 24, and the center of the small- diameter disk is positioned in the same center position as that of the large- diameter disk.
