PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb a step and to prevent water from easily intruding into an appliance even if unevenness of a mounting surface is large. SOLUTION: This structure for mounting an electromechanical appliance to the mounting surface 10 of a wall has tilt adjusting screws 3 advancingly and retreatingly mounted to the mounting surface 10 from the back of the electromechanical appliance and capable of adjusting the tilt of the appliance, and a space is formed between a power hole 12 and appliance mounting holes 13 formed in the appliance, and the mounting surface 10, so that the water intrusion into the appliance from the mounting surface 10 can be prevented. Thereby, in mounting the appliance used in a place where the unevenness of the mounting surface 10 is severe and water may splash, the appliance can be adjusted so as to be in parallel with the mounting surface 10 by bringing the tips of the tilt adjusting screws 3 in contact with projecting parts and recessed parts. Water splashed on the mounting surface 10 never intrudes into the power hole 12 or the appliance mounting holes 13, so that the intrusion of the water into the appliance can be prevented.
