PURPOSE: An ethylene vinyl acetate resin composition is provided, to remove the acetic acid odor of an ethylene vinyl acetate resin by adding a neutralizing agent for neutralizing acetic acid. CONSTITUTION: The ethylene vinyl acetate resin composition comprises 80-98 wt% of an ethylene vinyl acetate resin; and 2-20 wt% of MgO, Mg(OH)2, Mg(OH)2Al2O3 or isopropyl amine. The ethylene vinyl acetate resin composition has a melting index of 0.1-1,000 g/10 min and contains vinyl acetate by 0.5-50 wt%. Preferably the particle size of MgO, Mg(OH)2, Mg(OH)2Al2O3 and isopropyl amine is 0.5-5 micrometers. |
